Paco Speaks #8 – Congratulations/Class Schedule
During the last two weeks, NMLF (formerly GAMBEF) has conducted two 24-hour classes (Atlanta and Cumming) with new material to prepare students for the two mortgage originator license tests at the 14 test sites in Georgia. We are excited to learn about four of our students already taking and passing the Federal test (including scores of 96 and 86) and three of our students already taking and passing the State test (including a 92 score). Congratulations to these “early birds”!
We are very satisfied to have received positive feedback from some students confirming the prudence of our decision to offer 24-hour classes (for the price of 20-hour classes), with four stand-alone hours specifically dedicated to Georgia State Regs/Laws. NMLF is the only school we know about which focuses students intensively on the Federal study material and, then, the State study material. We are pleased that Mr. Drexel Beck, former Director of the Mortgage Division of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, will be available for many of our future 4-hour State classes. He did teach at both of our recent Atlanta and Cumming classes, which gave confidence to our “early birds,” according to their comments on the entertaining Mr. Beck.
NMLF classes are now set, as follows:
* Savannah (Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and 2)
* Atlanta (Dec. 7 – 9), including Drexel Beck
* Athens (Dec. 14 – 16), incl. Drexel Beck
* Augusta (Dec. 16 – 18)
* Alpharetta (Jan 11, 13 and 14, 2010), likely incl. Drexel Beck
We are in the process of setting up for Gwinnett/Duluth, Macon, Columbus, Albany, and Kennesaw. Other cities are shaping up on the radar screen, and registration forms for all classes are available upon request.
That’s all for now. We are here for you, so do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Frank “Paco” Torch, CRMS, CITRMS
